While kegs are the absolute kings of profit, Preserve jars are not to be underestimated. Preserve jars have two super powers that no one knows about. Additionally, preserve jars will add a base value of fifty to anything dropped in. This means that preserving jars will make you more money when you drop low value garbage crops into it. You now can cook up your fish using a fish smoker. This will double the value of your fish while also turning them into artisan goods! Meaning that your smoked up iridium quality fish will get impacted by the beautiful artisan profession. Taking a fish that would sell for a thousand gold, all the way up to four thousand gold! This is unmatched.. It’s actually just broken.. Use the gosh darn fish smoker as soon as you get it.
Get the recipe for the fish smoker from Willie for 10 thousand gold and fish in the lava, ocean and river to get the jellies required to craft the thing.

However there is a saving grace! You see, mushrooms are incredible!
Dehydrators can take simple little mushrooms and turn them into something incredible! Combine this fact with the brand new Mushroom Log to get an infinite amount of mushrooms!
The mushroom log does cost ten hardwood to craft and yeah, it’ll be worth it. To get the dehydrator buy the recipe from Pierre for ten thousand gold. Once you set this up, you will have an almost passive source of millions of gold every single season. It’s effortlessly beautiful.
6. Mystic Syrup Is Surprisingly Broken For Money Making
You saw those beautiful Mushroom logs earlier? Well the type of mushroom they produce depends on what type of tree you plant around them. Therefore it is in your best interest to always, and I mean always plant the Brand new Mystic Tree around those mushroom logs!
This will not only cause your mushroom logs to create the elusively valuable purple mushroom, but you can now drop heavy tappers onto those suckers to get Mystic Syrup! For the entire History of Stardew valley the Trapper profession was always hot garbage as syrups sold for basically nothing.
However Mystic syrup sells for 1000 gold, and 1500 gold with the tapper profession! It’s insane. Another free easy money printing machine.

However Legendary fish are now the only fish that you should ever drop into a fish pond. Hear me out, you catch a legendary fish and then what do you do with it? Store it in a chest? Store it in your fridge?! Nah, put those suckers to work.
Legendary fish will get you legendary eggs, which of course you can age like any other fish egg and yes, they sell for a stupid amount of money. Ensure you drop some Golden Animal Crackers into those fish ponds and enjoy being rich. It’s too easy these days…

We have been abusing the new mechanics of the latest update to get stupidly rich. However, let’s bring it back to the good old days. I am talking about a truly passive way to get rich that you can do today on your farm right now. Grab a barn, grab two or even three barns and fully upgrade those to the premium deluxe barn. Fill all of those barns up with lovely little pigs. Pet them, feed them, use an auto petter and get them to maximum hearts.
Each pig can find up to three truffles every single day. This is what it looks like on my farm at the end of each and every day. Then ensure you have the Botanist profession so that you are guaranteed to only get Iridium Quality Truffles! Each selling for 1250 gold! Each Pig makes 3750 Gold! All you need to do is harvest the truffles once a day!! How many pigs do you have on your farm?
9. Get More Money Than Any Other Method Using Honey.
Sticking with the classics. Bee houses. Bee houses can and will turn you into a millionaire. You know the story, take a bunch of bee houses and surround a single fairy rose with these lovely little bee houses. Do this every single fall on your main farm and do this on the left hand side of your ginger island farm to get Delicious Fairy Rose Honey all year round.
Each selling for almost one thousand gold… I can harvest about 250 servings of Fairy Rose Honey every four days, that is indeed 1.7 Million gold every single season. If you’re in the early game, start your bee houses collection ASAP.
11. The Only Correct Way To Use A Crystalarium In Stardew Valley.
You see this strange looking contraption, this is a Crystalarium. You most likely use this to duplicate Jades which you then trade in for Stair cases at the desert trader allowing you to reach floor five thousand in the skull cavern… That’s a great use!
However I only use these to duplicate Diamonds. The single most valuable gem in the game. The simple fact that we can duplicate diamonds is a gosh darn miracle. Each diamond sells for almost one thousand gold. The Crystalarium can duplicate diamonds in only five days. You can fit a crap ton of these in a shed, or in your house, or wherever the heck you can find space.
Each Crystalarium will net you a thousand gold every five days with absolutely no effort from you at all.. Do the right thing, build a Diamond farm.
11. No One Uses This BROKEN Money Making Technique In Stardew Valley.
If you did decide to use your Crystalariums on Jades, then you are the type of person who is absolutely swimming in Iridium Ore. Be honest, you have tons of stuff right? Lemme know in the comments below how much Iridium ore you have just sitting in a chest.. You see, you don’t need all of that Iridium ore.
However you do need more money. So take that ore and drop it into the brand new Heavy Furnace. This will use less coal and give you a chance to get an extra Iridium bar! Then drop those straight into the shipping bin for 1500 gold for each and every bar! You need a golden clock, sell your gosh darn iridium bars to get that clock! Or get two, or even three bars!

If you take an Iridium Quality ostrich egg, and drop it into a Mayonnaise machine. You will be absolutely gifted with ten servings of iridium quality Mayonnaise. I did not stutter.
You can absolutely print with Ostriches in this game thanks to Golden Animal crackers. And the best part?! It’s gosh darn near passive! With the help of an auto grabber you don’t even have to check on them every day like you do with Pigs. Just hop into the Barn once a season, grab the eggs, turn them into Mayonnaise and swim. Swim in your riches.
13. The Most Unusual Way To Get Rich In Stardew Valley.
This update has changed something. We can now absolutely print money in the strangest way possible. We can now make money without selling a thing, you can now make money by simply defeating enemies in the mines or the skull cavern. With the addition of the new Parrot Trinket. You will get money when you defeat enemies!
Naturally you should reroll that parrot trinket using the Anvil until you get the level 4 Parrot! Allowing you to get up to a thousand gold for a single kill! Ensure you use Monster Musk to ensure you have tons of enemies to slay. Finally, I can play the game the way I love. Getting rich without farming.

This next money making method is not going to get you rich, however it’s so gosh darn interesting I just had to include it. There are books in this game now, and one of them is called the Treasure appraisal guide. This little book will increase the sale price of all Artifacts by 300%!! This means that you could farm for omni geodes, get tons of artifacts and sell them for a profit now!
However this is not how you get rich using this brilliant new book. You see, Dinosaur eggs seem like animal products, they are not. Dinosaur eggs are indeed artifacts. This means that you can easily farm for dinosaur eggs using little dinosaurs! Drop some golden animal crackers on those suckers and sell each dinosaur egg for 2100 gold.
