How your profit is calculated
Each card is an alternative use of your budget, not a combined shopping list. Net profit is sale revenue minus seeds and the fertilizer cost you enter. Money left unspent is not profit.
Harvests, quality and processing
- Harvests must fall on or before day 28. Planting day is not a growth day. Crops are watered daily, protected from crows, and harvested and replanted promptly.
- Growth times follow the Wiki calendars for each Speed-Gro and Agriculturist combination. Speed-Gro does not shorten regrowth intervals. Unmilled Rice assumes it is not planted near water.
- Only guaranteed produce is counted: three blueberries, two cranberries, four coffee beans, and one item for other crops per harvest. Random extra produce, returned sunflower seeds and giant crops are excluded. Actual yields may be higher.
- All raw produce is regular quality. Artisan applies to eligible processed goods; Tiller is not compounded into wine or jelly prices. Coffee receives neither bonus.
- Keg and preserves values assume you eventually process the harvest. They are not a promise of cash by day 28. Machines, construction materials, labor, cask aging and reinvestment are excluded. Incomplete coffee batches are sold as raw beans.
- Multi-season crops may survive into the next season, but only the selected season’s harvests count here. This tool covers 42 named seed crops, plus Winter Seeds and a winter Qi Fruit scenario. Winter Seeds use a 25% expected share of each forage item, regular quality, without Gatherer or Botanist. Crocus gets Tiller; the other winter forage items do not. Crafting replacement seeds from harvested produce is not modeled. Fiber, Tea, fruit trees and other machines are outside this comparison.
