Best Rings In Stardew Valley 1.6

There are tons of rings in Stardew Valley… and even more combinations. But if you’re just randomly equipping whatever you find, you’re leaving a massive amount of power on the table. Here are the Best Rings In Stardew Valley for ultimate domination. I’ll show you exactly which rings are actually worth using, which ones are completely useless, and the most overpowered ring combinations that will let you absolutely destroy enemies in the mines, skull cavern, and beyond. Watch on: The Best Rings and Combinations in Stardew Valley

1. Easy To Obtain Ring

Stardew Valley Rings

Let’s start with the simple rings that you can just buy from the Adventurers Guild.

The aquamarine ring will simply increase the chance to critically strike with a weapon by ten percent. I wouldn’t really recommend this one.

The Jade ring will increase your critical damage by ten percent. This is only good on the iridium needle.  Don’t rely on critical strikes for damage, it is too unreliable.

The Amethyst ring will increase your knockback. This is a silly one, if you get a weapon and add amethyst enchantments to it, and use the amethyst rings. You can hit enemies into the nether realm… Flying enemies will simply just not be in the game anymore. It’s kinda cool, but not very practical.

Stardew Valley here To Get Rings

The Topaz Ring will increase your defense by one. It used to do nothing, but that was fixed recently!

The emerald ring will increase your weapon attack speed by ten percent. This is kinda cool, however it also works on your iridium scythe. Yeah, these rings will allow you to harvest crops faster which is nice.

The ruby ring increases your overall damage by ten percent. This is an incredible ring to combine with the lovely Iridium band, as that damage increase can indeed stack with the iridium band.

2. Soul Sapper Ring

Stardew Valley Soul Sapper Ring

The Soul Sapper Is a Strange Ring! Every time you defeat an enemy, you will regain four energy. This is strange, it’s odd.. I think it’s kind of useless…  the only time I would ever use this ring is for that one Qi Quest where you are not allowed to eat or drink in the skull cavern. That’s about it.  D Tier.

3. Slime Charmer Ring

Stardew Valley Slime Charmer Ring

The Slime Charmer Ring on the other hand, this one is kind of incredible. You will need to defeat one thousand slimes to get this ring as a reward from a monster eradication quest. It’s worth the grind. This ring will cause slimes to never be able to damage or slow you ever again. It’s great for slime hutches, and it’s even better in the mines. One less thing to worry about.  A Tier

4. Lucky Ring

Stardew Valley Lucky Ring

Oooh the Lucky Ring…. This ring is simple, it will give you plus one to your luck. I don’t need to tell you how great this is. I always wear two of these at all times. Fortunately we can combine rings, and I will go over the best combinations later! To get a lucky ring,  just use your pan at the dig site on ginger island on the best luck day. It’s easy.
S Tier

5. Phoenix Ring

Stardew Valley Phoenix Ring

The Phoenix ring is kinda cool for those of you who don’t enjoy mining as much! This ring will revive you once per day with half of your maximum health. I can see the value, however I would rather use many of the other options. You’ll have to get lucky in the volcano when opening chests as this ring is quite rare.  C Tier

6. Napalm Ring

Stardew Valley Napalm Ring

The napalm ring on the other hand is just incredible. Fortunately it is much easier to get! Just defeat 250 Of those horrid green serpents to complete that Monster eradication quest. THis ring will cause enemies to explode when you defeat them. This can damage other enemies in range, and destroy rocks as well. It’s a really fun ring. I bring it with me when I want to have some fun.  A Tier

7. Ring of Yoba

Stardew Valley Ring of Yoba

The Ring Of Yoba Is Highly Underrated! You need to use this thing more. YOu can simply craft this ring at level 7 combat.  This ring will randomly make you invincible for 5 seconds when you take damage. This is highly dependent on luck, however it can go absolutely crazy. I think it’s considerably better than the phoenix ring as this can proc multiple times in a single fight instead of just once per day. A Tier.

8. Crabshell Ring

Stardew Valley Crabshell Ring

The crabshell ring is kinda annoying to get! You’ll have to defeat 60 rock crabs in the mines, and collect it at the adventurers guild. Annoying, however extremely worth it. THis ring will increase your defense by 5. This ring will give you the opportunity to become so tanky, enemies are more like flies.  A Tier

9. Burglar Ring

Stardew Valley Burglar Ring

The best ring in the entire game. The Burglar ring. Just defeat 500 dust sprites in the regular mines, and collect it from the adventures guild. This ring will get you more loot when you defeat enemies. How does it work? Whenever you defeat an enemy the game will roll a dice. If it lands, you get loot. The burglar ring causes the game to roll that dice twice. Meaning you are more likely to get loot, and sometimes you will get double the normal loot. It’s great, always wear one of these. S Tier.

10. Protection Ring

Stardew Valley Protection Ring

It’s time for the Protection Ring! You can find this in the chests in the volcano. Whenever you get hit by an enemy, you will be immune to damage for 1.2 seconds. This is called an invincibility frame. Well, the protection ring will increase this by 0.4 seconds. And if you wear two of these, you will be invincible for 2 entire seconds after being hit. It’s interesting, but uh not good enough. D tier.

11. Vampire Ring

Stardew Valley Vampire Ring

The Vampire ring sounds great on paper! Every time you defeat an enemy you will regain two health. This is great for that quest where you cannot eat or drink anything, otherwise this ring is absolutely F tier. 2 health is just not good enough when compared to the other rings we have in this game. YOu can get this ring by defeating 200 bats.

12. Thorns Ring

Stardew Valley Thorns Ring

The Thorns ring was fixed in this latest update. You can now wear two of these to double its effects! If an enemy hits you, they will take some damage. The truth of the matter is that it doesn’t reflect enough damage to be useful. You can craft this ring at level seven combat and it’s most definitely. D tier.

13. Warrior Ring

Stardew Valley Warrior Ring

Warriors deserve a warrior ring! A simple little ring that you can craft at level 4 combat. This little ring has a chance to give you a damage boost after defeating an enemy. Tch, to be honest. This ring is absolutely garbage. F tier. Never use this thing. Compared to a simple ruby ring that always gives you a damage boost, the warrior ring will always be inferior.

14. Immunity Band

Stardew Valley Immunity Band

The Immunity band is interesting. You will have to get lucky with this one, as you can only really find it by defeating enemies..  This ring will give you plus four to your immunity. Immunity reduces the likelihood of receiving a debuff, like being slowed by slimes. In my opinion, it’s not all that worth it.  C tier.

15. Iridium Band

Stardew Valley Iridium Band

The Iridium Band is an absolute staple. Everyone needs at least one of these. This can be crafted at level 9 combat and you should make it a priority. The iridium band will give you a ten percent damage bonus, just like a ruby ring. It will also give you magnetism and a glow effect so that you can see at night. You can indeed wear two of these at the same time to double down on all of these effects. Absolutely S tier.

16. Hot Java Ring

Stardew Valley Hot Java Ring

The Hot Java Ring is a fun little addition! This ring will give enemies a chance to drop coffee or triple shot espresso when defeated. It sounds absolutely random, however it’s actually really useful. Combine this with the burglar ring to make the hot java ring even better! There are better options for combat, however the hot java ring is always a fan favourite. B Tier.

17. Savage Ring

Stardew Valley Savage Ring

The savage ring is kind of like the warrior ring. When you defeat an enemy, you will get a massive speed boost for three seconds. You will need to defeat 150 void spirits to get this ring, and once you have it you should drop it into a chest and never touch it again. The heck you gonna do with a tiny three second speed boost… C Tier.

18. Sturdy Ring

Stardew Valley Sturdy Ring

Have you ever heard of the Sturdy Ring? You can craft this thing at level one combat so you must have heard of it right? The sturdy ring will cause debuffs to last half as long, so when a slime smacks and slows you. You’ll be back to normal speed quicker. It’s not bad since you can get it super early into your playthrough but not good later in the game. C Tier.

19. Wedding Ring

Stardew Valley Wedding Ring

Wedding Ring! Bet ja didn’t think I would include this huh. You can only buy a wedding ring in multiplayer, and you can get it for 5000 gold from the travelling merchant. Give it to another player to propose! F Tier.

20. Glowstone Ring

Stardew Valley Glowstone Ring

The glowstone ring! Listen, if you’re early into your playthrough I would recommend that you craft up one of these. The glow and magnetism effect are worth it. Night becomes bearable and mining becomes easier. You can craft it at level 4 with only five iron bars and five solar essences. The iridium band should replace this as soon as you have one though.

21. Best Stardew Valley Ring Combinations

You can combine two rings together to create a brand new ring! You cannot combine the same rings together, and you cannot combine a combined ring. Otherwise there are hundreds of combinations here! I will very quickly show you some of the best.

Combine an iridium band with a lucky ring, and an iridium band with a burglar ring. This is a great allround ring that will make you strong in the mines, and will ensure you get tons of loot. If you prefer treasure floors and fishing treasure chest, use two lucky rings instead.

Best Stardew Valley Ring Combinations

If you’re focusing on strength, then combine two iridium bands with two ruby rings. This will make you deal loads of damage with every swing.

Stardew Valley Double Glow Ring Combination

If you hate the dark, combine two iridium bands with two glowstone rings. Check this out, you’re the sun now.

Stardew Valley Good Ring Combination

If you’re afraid of dying, combine one iridium band with a slime charmer ring. And then one Ring of yoba with a crabshell ring. This is a well rounded combination.

Stardew Valley Best Ring Combination For Loot

If you’re a loot goblin, combine a burglar ring with the hot java ring, and an iridium band with a lucky ring. Enjoy.
